Modification in registered office addresses of natural persons entities

Trends Business Information collects data from various official sources and through own research to provide you with qualitative business information. The Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE) is an important source for the identification of sole traders.

In order to comply with the requirements of the GDPR legislation, the CBE no longer provides the registered office address of sole traders to licensees since 1 September. In addition, licensees have also been obliged to remove the historical registered office addresses of sole traders. For a population of approximately 600,000 active sole traders, the registered office address is therefore no longer available. However, the business unit addresses remains available.

This means that in the Trends Pro reports the registered office address has been replaced by a business unit address. For more than 60% of the active sole traders, nothing has changed: the address of the business unit where the activity takes place, is also the registered office address. For companies where the activity takes place at a different location, we have replaced the registered office address with the most logical business unit address. Sole traders without a business unit address no longer have an address.
